BastilleVid
05 June 2017 (Toronto, ON) – Today, Bastille release a video for their song “Glory”, taken from the band’s highly-acclaimed No.1 album Wild World, released June 2016 via Universal Music Canada, the country’s leading music company. Whilst much of the album’s narrative asks questions and attempts to make sense of a post truth era, “Glory” sees the band’s frontman Dan Smith finding solace in relationships:
“The song is about friendship and those woozy middle-of-the-night chats that drunkenly seem so important at the time,” says Smith. “It’s my favourite track on “Wild World”, and we wanted the video to be a celebration of storytelling, relationships, and how two people can remember things completely differently.”
Directed by Daniel Brereton (Metronomy, Django Django, Connan Mockasin) the video was shot in Dallas on a day off during the band’s sold-out 34 date American tour.
Bastille appeared at R1’s Big Weekend  and play huge slots at this summer’s festivals. For a full list of dates, visit: Bastillebastille.com
