BIFFY CLYRO ANNOUNCE NORTH AMERICAN TOUR DATES IN SUPPORT OF CURRENT ALBUM ELLIPSIS

TICKETS ON SALE AT 10 AM LOCAL TIME THIS FRIDAY, JANUARY 13^TH

January 9^th, 2017 (Burbank, CA) — Scottish trio Biffy Clyro announce a North American tour in support of their current album Ellipsis. The tour kicks off in Las Vegas on March 24^th and hits major cities in the U.S. and Canada before wrapping up in Washington, DC on April 15^th, with support from O’Brother. Tickets go on sale at 10 am local time this Friday, January 13^th at BIFFYCLYRO.COM/SHOWS.

Over the summer, Biffy Clyro performed headline sets at the Reading and Leeds festivals in the UK. Released by Warner Bros. Records/14^th Floor Recordings in July, Ellipsis went straight to number one in the UK album chart and was also number one in Switzerland, Germany, and Ireland.  It remained in the UK Top 40 for 11 weeks before claiming the top spot on the album chart, making it Biffy Clyro's second No. 1 album after 2013's Opposites. Magnet magazine called Ellipsis, “blistering hard melodic rock with a touch of ’90s alternative and a quick taste of sweet-tart pop,” while LoudWire called it, “the jumping off point for even more of an evolution.”
