05 May 2017 (Toronto, ON) The Vamps are certainly back with a bang. The British pop-rock four-piece released their new single “Middle of the Night” last week, and it has already stormed into the Top 5 on iTunes leading them to trend around the world on Twitter. Not one to keep their fans waiting, The Vamps have today followed up the single release with the announcement of their new album, Night & Day through Virgin EMI UK / Universal Music Canada, the country’s leading music company.
As a very special treat for their loyal fan base who are always keen to hear new music, The Vamps will release the album in two parts. The Night Edition will hit stores first on July 14 and is available to pre-order now, while the Day Edition will follow towards the end of the year. Both albums will feature 10 new songs each plus a live DVD / download of The Vamps at their recent London 02 Arena show. The track listing will be confirmed soon.
“Middle Of The Night” is the second single to be taken from Night & Day and follows in the footsteps of “All Night”, their biggest single to-date which is now Gold in Canada. “All Night” hit a massive 200 million plays on Spotify globally, more than Niall Horan’s “This Town”, Rag N Bone Man’s “Human” and Little Mix’s “Shout Out To My Ex”. On “Middle Of The Night”, The Vamps teamed up with one of their favourite DJs, Martin Jensen, best known for the 2016 single “Solo Dance” which earned him his first UK Top 10 single.
The Vamps are currently in the midst of their UK arena tour where they kicked things off at Sheffield Arena last week. The band wrap up the tour at Birmingham’s Genting Arena, a homecoming show for both singer Brad Simpson and bassist Connor Ball. The Vamps hit London’s iconic O2 Arena on May 13. The Vamps are joined on the tour by New Hope Club, who the guys signed to their very own label Steady Records last year, and Sabrina Carpenter, the American actress and singer songwriter. In addition to their tour, the band will headline Family Channel’s Big Ticket Concert at Budweiser Stage in Toronto on August 27.
The Vamps are Brad Simpson (Vocals, Guitar), James McVey (Guitar), Connor Ball (Bass) and Tristan Evans (Drums).
